[Apparently, if you're from the land down under, you're increasingly likely to have felt the physical manifestation of feminine wrath. The New South Wales Bureau of Crime Statistics figures show that over the past eight years, the number of women charged with domestic abuse has rocketed by 159 percent, from 800 to 2,336.

But even in America, it seems like women get away with an awful lot of physical violence that would never fly if a man did it. Whether it's slapping, punching, kicking or the throwing of large, heavy objects, most of the male staff of Asylum has experienced some violence at the hands of an angry girlfriend.

Sure, (most) women are less likely to cause serious damage, but does that make boyfriend abuse acceptable? And since you can't exactly fight back, what are you supposed to do if your lady starts whaling on you?]
