BIG Shay: Being Blessed and talented as always.
EvOn: Can you give us a quick introduction of yourself for our visitors?
BIG Shay: Love to , I'm Shay Casiano one of God's favorites. I'm a female rapper and producer whose openly gay from Atlanta, Ga. Just for the record I been doing this professionally since 15 and I'm 27 now so please don't compare me to these newborns out here.......
EvOn: You go by the name Shay Casiano™ , so are you apart of any group,
movement or do you just roll solo and whats ya plans at the moment?
BIG Shay: I go by alotta names currently, I'm BIG Shay, while Shay Casiano is CEO of Assassins Entertainment . The Company is ran by myself, my bro Mr. Moe or JB depending on which check we cutting, I got one of the hottest new producers in the game right now Mr. Miskeen or TKO and that's depends on his swag at the time. Currently were releasing my new album "God Presents BIG Shay" 11/25/07....... I'm also planning to work wit Shawty Ree one of Atlanta's other hot female producer an MC.
EvOn: Can you tell us about the music and what your plans are for an album/shows ?
BIG Shay: Well I coined the term Swag Music.... Kinda like a sound track for being fly. It gives you that feeling like your to high for anybody to touch except for God. My new projects include me and some of the hottest female MC's putting our music together, I'm set to work wit Skandalous who did "I Got Your Girl", I hope to land Thug on some tracks, I'm most def gone get at Fiona Simone, she gotta nice sound, Shawty Ree, I'd like to hear me and Taz on a track or two also. But for the most part I'm doing alot of producing at the moment, I sing as well, and I write. So please look out for that.
EvOn: When people check out ya music What has the response been like so far?
BIG Shay: Most of them dont think I sound like a girl, which is a good thing. I found a dude a beat a song if it tends to have that harder sound. I mean how many street cats listen to Remy Ma? My point exact. Now the chicks that's a whole different ball game. The ladies love me, from daughters, to aunts, moms, and grandma. I'm like that Stud They all got a lil crush on......... But in the streets, in the club it's always love.
EvOn: what inspires you to make ya tracks?
BIG Shay: God, emotions, trials, My family and friends, Jonas, change, wealth, fame. But music was all I had growing up. I 'm an only child, so being alone alot music kept me company.

EvOn: what is your view on the hip hop scene at the moment?
BIG Shay: if you make it, they will come........ I respect everybody's talent, their swag, they sound. If you get an opportunity, I say take it. Whose to say what Hip Hop is but God. No matter what coast. Just do what you do,and if you get your shot be smart and thankful.
EvOn: Do you think Beef between artist give you more of a step up/rep in the game?
BIG Shay: It means you got to much time, get money and praise the Lord how bout that. But .....as you and I know Beef is, what it is. Some people I think aren't creative enough to be noticed. So they gotta do what they do to be noticed.
EvOn: Are there any other artists from the gay sceane that we should be looking out for right now?
BIG Shay: All day Skandalous, Shawty Ree, Big Momma, Fiona Simone, Thug, Taz, Danger, Treasure my cuzzo, and that's about it for me as of now.
EvOn: does it annoy you when ya a female artist, and people tell you you gotta have the sex appeal/sex sales/ whats ya views on that?
BIG Shay: Sex do sell, It's just the kind your selling I say. I am a Sex Symbol... I do this, I look good doing it to........I feel like every woman in the world could possible fall in love with me, If I give her the chance! I'm the Shit.........
EvOn: If you wasn't making music what do you think you would be doing right now?
BIG Shay: to be honest my mom's do her thing in her "business", So I'd probably be following in her footstep's even though they would'nt fit considering I wear a 13.... But I'd be getting along just find. She's a legend ask about her.
EvOn: How important do you think it is for new artist’s to know their history and appreciate the different elements of Hiphop even if they don’t partake in them?
BIG Shay:You cant pass the test unless youj study right, It's also like a respect thing as well, If I dont respect Hip Hop and the pioneers how can I respect myself, my peers, my generation. With that said you gotta give it, to get it. If you dont , then you'll never be respected.
EvOn: any final words / shoutouts before we finish?
BIG Shay: All day , first thank you for the time and consideration. It feels good to know some body's listening. I gotta Thank God for choosing me and pick me to be BIG Shay, My Family , Mr. Moe, Mr. MisKeen, My friends, and my beautiful girlfriend The lovely KP.
